I could’ve been a little more contemporary and posted this shirt, but something about the meticulousness of this image really struck me. It’s amazing how a few tacky pieces of plastic and some circuitry that cost $300 (about $420 in today’s prices) changed the console market forever, selling over 102 million units, and arguably killing off Sega in the process. These probably had something to do with it, too, but it’s just cool to see how simple ‘revolutionary’ 32-bit technology was on the inside.
